From my earliest memories,  I have been creating

                                                                 images of exotic humans and animals in unusual,

                                                                 nature filled surroundings. I won my first art award at

                                                                 age 7!

 

                                                                 Knowing in my heart that art would be my life’s work,

                                                                 I earned a BFA in illustration from the prestigious

                                                                 Parsons New School for Design in NYC and Paris.

 

While pursuing my career as an illustrator and designer, I began creating a body of personal work, in oil, featured on this website.  Many of these works have shown in galleries and alternative spaces and have also been used for various commercial purposes. In one exciting project I was featured along with my paintings in Dom Ruinart Champagne’s national magazine ad campaign “Sips & Spills”.

 

Throughout the 90’s I worked as art director and head designer of Child Guidance Preschool toy company.

 

Today, I maintain a freelance career doing design, illustration, photo retouching and portrait painting.  I am a Professional Member of NY’s Pen and Brush Club as well as the Nat’l Association of Women Artists; showing my paintings at every opportunity.

 

I live in Noho, NYC with my husband Danny and our adorable Chihuahua Zeena.
